Best Breakfast Spots in Rexburg
Breakfast is probably my favorite meal of the day. I never fail to skip it--whether it’s a bowl of frosted flakes, scrambled eggs on toast, or just a cup of orange juice. Yet there are times where I don’t feel like eating soggy cereal or eggs cooked in different ways.
That’s why I’m so thankful for good breakfast spots! They are life-savers during times where I want something a bit more fancier, or when I just don’t feel like cooking.

If you’re looking for a variety of breakfast options to choose from, then Red Rabbit Grill is the place for you. They serve everything from breakfast skillets, breakfast burritos, and croissant sandwiches to Belgian waffles, french toast, and Southern classics like biscuits and gravy and country fried steak and eggs. There is also a build-your-own breakfast option available. Red Rabbit Grill is also a great place to have a cozy sit-down meal.
Paradise Donuts 16 S Center St, Rexburg, ID 83440
If you prefer a grab ‘n’ go kind of breakfast, Paradise Donuts is the best choice! They have several kinds of donuts like maple bacon bars, donut holes, sprinkle donuts, cake donuts and fritters. They also serve coffee and hot chocolate. Other beverages they sell include milk, sodas, and juices.

Rexburg doesn’t have a Starbucks, but something better--June’s Place! It is a small business coffee shop that sells coffees, teas, smoothies, hot chocolate, and even frozen hot chocolate. There are also dairy substitutes for these drinks such as oat milk, almond milk, and soy milk. They also serve breakfast sandwiches and baked goods. Jazz music and comfy couches add to the calming ambiance of this coffeeshop, making it a great place to study or to enjoy breakfast with a loved one.
BYU-I Crossroads Manwaring Center BYU-Idaho
Believe it or not, BYU-I Crossroads has a great breakfast buffet. They offer fresh fruit, french toast, pancakes, sausages, breakfast burritos and much more. Make sure to try their silver burrito, which is packed with eggs, sausage, hash browns, and a chile verde sauce. There is also a bakery section that sells huge cinnamon rolls and muffins.
White Sparrow Country Store 7875 S 1800 W, Rexburg, ID 83440
Famous for their fried pies, White Sparrow Country Store has breakfast pies available too. There is the Don’t Go Bacon My Heart which is filled with bacon, egg, and cheese, and The Rooster’s Crow, which has sausage, egg, and cheese. What’s great about these is that these pies are made on the spot, so when you get them they’re piping hot.
Mrs. Powell’s 19 E Main St, Rexburg, ID 83440
If you have a sweet tooth for breakfast, but don’t like donuts, then Mrs. Powell’s is your answer! At this bakery, they sell cinnamon rolls, huckleberry rolls, orange rolls and caramel nut rolls. Mrs. Powell’s also sells a variety of breads like white and wheat bread, and cinnamon swirl loaves.
